What Biz Opp?
If you’re one of those people who has one of those slightly prissy ‘NO JUNK MAIL’ signs pasted above your letterbox (or ‘No Unsolicited Mail’ if you live in a middle-class area), please look away now. In fact, you may want to go lie down in a darkened room and do some breathing exercises. I know how much this subject matter can be very upsetting to some. However, if you are somewhat more forgiving and entrepreneurially open-minded then here’s something that you could make a very tidy income from.
As far as I know, no one is doing this in the UK yet. Over in the USA a guy called Stephen Shulenski is making $500 a day (that’s about £350) doing just this. I can’t think of a reason in the world why it wouldn’t work the same or even better here.
I discovered this opportunity by chance, while browsing in a local card shop. It’s already a very profitable opportunity for someone. It would be very easy to duplicate it in your area...
Train and plane spotting is a bit of an odd hobby, don’t you think? Standing for hours in the rain at a station or airport hoping for a glimpse of a National Express Class 91 locomotive or a British Airways Boeing 747-400 with winglets. To be honest, one train looks much the same as another to me, although apparently they’re not.
But don’t knock it, because it can be a great niche market for digital photographers. Train and plane spotters are always keen to buy photos of a particular train or aircraft to add to their collection. In fact, I’ve discovered that good photos will sell for £2, £3 or even £10 a pop... and some particularly sought after photos have sold thousands of copies. The Internet makes it easy to take and sell train and aircraft photos to enthusiasts.
